Easter

This year, we made "carrots" for all of the boys and girls in Carly's and Connor's classes (that would be 35 carrots - a lot of cheese puffs!) We made Peeps treats for Carly's class and the teachers received monogrammed eggs.

We were up on Long Island for the majority of Spring Break but had to come back home for Easter since school started again on Monday. Our time on Long Island was relaxing...not on the beach though. Not warm enough yet. We enjoyed our time with family - and happy that we were able to be there to celebrate our sweet niece's 2nd birthday, and Matt's father's birthday.

Easter was very nice - a beautiful, warm, sunny day. We enjoyed a liesurely morning while C&C hunted for their Easter baskets. No clues this year...the Easter Bunny must've been lazy! They found them, though, with very little trouble. After a wonderful service at church, we came home and C&C hunted for eggs. That evening, we enjoyed a not-so-traditional meal of surf -n- turf with my mom. Mmmm mmmm!
